Booking Policies
- What type of deposit is required to book a reservation?
We are very sensitive to the budget needs of all of our couples as we book your perfect wedding plan. The amount of the deposit will depend on what plan you have chosen. The Intimate, Romantic and Traditional plans have a non-refundable deposit of $100.00. All other plans have a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 - $500.00. We understand that sometimes events in life are unpredictable and can cause an unforeseen delay or cancellation of your special day, so we are more than willing to accommodate you and put your deposit on reserve for up to one year as long as we receive a minimum of seven days notice.
- What are your cancellation policies?
If you cancel your ceremony for any reason more than 7 days before the ceremony, we will refund everything that you have paid except for the deposit. The deposit that you have paid is, however, transferable between ceremonies. So, if you need to postpone the ceremony, or if you know someone else getting married here, this deposit can be applied for up to one year after the cancellation date. Unfortunately, if you need to cancel within 7 days of your ceremony, none of the money is refundable because we have already ordered everything required for your ceremony.
- When is the full package payment due?
We require the remaining balance of your ceremony to be paid 30 days prior to the ceremony date. If you book within 30 days of your ceremony, you will be asked to pay the full amount at the time that you book the ceremony.
General Information
- How do I get my marriage license?
The Clark County Marriage License Bureau at the Regional Justice Center (201 Clark Avenue) is about 12 blocks from our chapel towards downtown Las Vegas. The cost is $60.00. This must be paid in cash. The two of you need to be together, and you both need to have picture identification showing that you are over 18. We suggest that you get this at least the day prior to the wedding. The license is valid up to one year from the issue date. You can find driving directions posted on our website under "Marriage Licenses". To fill out your application ahead of time, go to www.accessclarkcounty.com and click on "Permits/Licenses" and select "Marriage License". From there, you can select a link to take you to the application, which you can print, fill out and bring with you to the Marriage License Bureau. We cannot perform your marriage ceremony unless you have a valid Clark County Marriage License.
- Can you take us to get our marriage license?
Yes! Talk to your Personal Wedding Planner about our Luxury Marriage License service. For just $75, you will be picked up at your hotel, brought to the chapel for a personal consultation and tour, and taken to the Regional Justice Center to obtain your marriage license.
*It is necessary to contact your Planner to schedule a Luxury Marriage License service. This service is available Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. This service is not available on Saturday or Sunday.
If you are not able to use the Luxury Marriage License service, we ask that you get your marriage license on your own. This will help assure that your ceremony begins on time. Your Wedding Planner would be more than happy to assist you with directions and information about what is required at the Regional Justice Center. - When do I take care of the minister's donation?
After your ceremony you will meet with the minister again in the minister's office so that he may provide you with information of how to obtain the certified copy of your marriage certificate. You will have a chance to ask him any questions concerning the steps to take for changing your name and any other questions you might have. Once all of your questions have been answered, he will present you with an envelope for his donation. He will then leave the room so that you can discreetly pay him whatever amount you think is appropriate for his services. We recommend a donation of at least $60. Your minister will also personally deliver all of your documents to the Clark County Recorder's Office where your marriage will be legally documented.
- I don't live in the United States. Will my DVD work when I take it home?
Yes, it will. All of our wedding ceremonies are recorded in region less format so they should work on any DVD player.
- May I have an outside ceremony?
Yes. We provide many outside ceremony locations, from our Gazebo or Desert Falls & Garden on our grounds, or all the way to the Grand Canyon.
For our gazebo, we schedule the ceremonies between 9am - 11am and after 8pm to avoid the other couples who have scheduled the grounds for photos and visiting with family and friends. The Gazebo seats 8 guests (though you may rent 12 additional chairs if needed); we do not recommend more than 20 guests for the Gazebo, as it may be difficult for them to hear your ceremony. This area is lighted for your photos at night - you will even have the Stratosphere Tower in the background! In the Gazebo, fire hazards prevent us from doing the unity candle lighting ceremony.
If you choose our Desert Falls & Garden, your ceremony may take place at any time during the day, with up to 30 guests. While we still cannot perform a unity candle ceremony due to fire hazards, we do have speakers set up throughout the area.
If you would like videography for either the Gazebo or Desert Falls & Garden, a hand-held camera must be added to your Wedding Plan, even when a video was included (this is the same for Internet viewing). This costs $100 on weekdays and $120 on weekends but does not include a DVD. If you do not have a DVD included with your ceremony package, you are welcome to purchase one for $100.00 or two for $135.00.
An outdoor ceremony can be a beautiful event. Although we do not want to discourage the outside ceremonies on our grounds, we do want you to know what to expect. Many couples choose to get married in one of our beautiful chapels and then to get photos taken on the grounds or other off-site locations. Please speak with your Personal Wedding Planner if you have other questions about outside ceremonies. - How can I get a live singer to perform at my ceremony?
We are happy to arrange a live singer for you, or you may make your own arrangements for a singer. If you do make your own arrangements, please let us know as soon as possible, as you may need to purchase extra time in the chapel.
- What is the First Look service?
If you don't want to see each other in your wedding attire until the bride walks down the aisle, the First Look Service is for you. You will arrive separately, fill out your paper work and meet with the minister and photographer separately. Due to the extra staffing and arranging involved there is a $75.00 fee for this service. Once the preliminary details are taken care of, the wedding coordinator will make sure that the wedding party is in place with the groom standing at the front of the chapel. He hears the music and turns to get his first look at his beautiful bride as she walks down the aisle.
- Can you provide a reception after our ceremony?
We are proud to announce that we now have receptions available for our brides and grooms. At our Chapel, we have the new Desert Falls & Gardens area, where you can share a simple cider toast or have a more elaborate event with hors d'œuvres and a decadent cake. At Lake Las Vegas, select from the "Lady of the Lake" Yacht, or La Contessa yacht. Any of these choices will provide you and your guests an elegant reception to go along with your beautiful ceremony. For more information, please click on "Receptions" under My Wedding on the left menu or contact your Personal Wedding Planner.
- I have found some coupons for different services at Little Chapel of the Flowers. How are these applied to my wedding plan?
Any coupons that you have are applied the day of the wedding. Please bring in the coupon that day, and the amount will be credited to your account.
- What is your Consumer Privacy Policy?
Chapel of the Flowers does not sell or exchange personal consumer information with third parties.

Your Wedding
- Is there a limit to how many guests can attend my wedding?
There are only a few restrictions, depending on which wedding plan and/or chapel you have. If you choose the Intimate Wedding, there is a maximum of 5 guests allowed with a fee of $25 for any additional guest. With any of the other plans, the only restriction depends on what chapel you have reserved for your wedding. The Magnolia Chapel can seat up to 20, the Victorian can seat up to 30, and La Capella can seat up to 70. There is an additional $150 charge to use La Capella, regardless of your guest count.
*A guest is anyone attending the wedding other than the bride and groom, including members of the wedding party. - Your Wedding: Phase One
After arriving into town and checking into your hotel we ask that you do two things. First, we would like you to call us with your room number to confirm the details of your wedding. Second, you must go to the Regional Justice Center (201 Clark Ave) to get your marriage license. We cannot marry you if you do not have the marriage license! You must get the license in the State of Nevada.
- Your Wedding: Phase Two
On the day of the wedding we ask you be dressed and ready, in your room & off the phone approximately 1 hour prior to your specified wedding time. During this time the driver will call you to tell you exactly where and when to meet him. He will pick you up about 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, but you need to be in your room to take his call. If you do not have limo service in your plan, we ask that you and all of your guests arrive 20-25 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Please be prompt. Also, please take traffic into consideration - especially on weekends and holidays.
If you arrive on your own and are either late and/or do not have your Marriage License, we will reschedule your ceremony for the nearest available time. If your guests arrive late, we will either perform the ceremony without them or reschedule your wedding to the nearest available time. This is to lend other couples being married after you the same courtesy that you deserve. - Your Wedding: Phase Three
When the two of you arrive at the chapel,
you will be asked to fill out some required documentation. Until the chapel is ready for your party, we ask your guests to remain outside on the patio area so we can maintain a quiet atmosphere in the chapel. When your paperwork is completed, the coordinator will present you with your flowers and introduce the two of you to your minister and photographer. At this time, you will go over the details of your ceremony. This includes an explanation of all your documents, whether you would like a civil or religious ceremony, and what photos are included with your package.
While you are doing this, your guests will be seated. When you are done, the coordinator will advise you and your wedding party where to stand, when to walk, and any other little details (For example: if you bring a special CD that you want to walk down the aisle to). At this point it is time for your ceremony to start. Please understand that your wedding time is an estimate, and the actual ceremony may start up to ten minutes either before or after your scheduled time.
- Your Wedding: Phase Four
After the ceremony you will meet with the minister once more. He will then provide you with information of how to obtain the certified copy of your marriage certificate. You will have a chance to ask him any questions concerning the steps to take for changing your name and any other questions you might have. Once all of your questions have been answered, he will present you with an envelope for his donation. He will then leave the room so that you can discreetly pay him whatever amount you think is appropriate for his services. The suggested minimum is $60.00. You will then be escorted back into the chapel to take posed photos. Again, during this time your guests will be asked to wait outside on the patio. Upon finishing your photos inside the chapel, your photographer will lead you outside to take posed photos of the two of you, and some with your guests if you have a photo package that includes such. In all, you will spend about 15-20 minutes with your photographer after the ceremony has finished. Then, you will go back to the coordinator or to the gift shop to checkout. You will receive your marriage license and any other items that had been arranged, such as your video, the candle you lit together, a cake, etc. You will also provided with an envelope for your limo driver. The suggested minimum gratuity is $40.00. You can take care of his gratuity and give him the envelope upon drop off at your hotel.
- Your Wedding: Phase Five
If you purchase extra time on the grounds, the limo driver will arrange to wait for you during the extra time. Even if you do not have a limo you will need to purchase the additional time if you plan to remain on the grounds to take additional photos with your friends and family after the ceremony. Your reservation is scheduled for 30 minutes. The ceremony itself is about 8-10 minutes. The remaining time is used in taking your photos, filling out your documents, and meeting with the minister and photographer. Please honor the time that you have been given and ask your wedding party and guests to do the same. We want to make your wedding day as beautiful and enjoyable as possible. We will do all we can to make your wedding day perfect, but we need your help in order to do that! Please familiarize yourself with our policies and procedures to avoid any surprises. We want everything to be perfect for you!
- How do I see my Guest List?
Using the login and password that was e-mailed to you when you began your reservation, you will log into your Wedding Plan and scroll to where it reads "View Wedding Guest List." If you no longer have your login information, please contact us so that we can forward it to you.
* Please note that our system does not allow your guests to write messages to you (unless they purchase a Toast); you will merely see a list of names and e-mail addresses of the people who were able to "attend" your wedding online.
Ceremony
- How long is the ceremony?
The actual ceremony is about eight to twelve minutes long, depending on the minister and whether it is a civil or religious ceremony. Prior to the ceremony you will be greeted by your wedding coordinator and be given your flowers. You will then meet with your minister to personalize your ceremony, and then with your photographer to review your photo selections. We believe that we have fantastic ministers who perform sincere, wonderful ceremonies. We encourage you to watch live weddings on our website in order to get a feel for what your ceremony will be like.
- Can we write our own vows?
Yes, you may. We do our best to make every
ceremony personal to the couple getting married. We believe that each of our ministers performs a beautiful ceremony, and that your own vows are certainly not necessary. If, however, you feel strongly about writing your own vows we are happy to accommodate you. We ask that you keep them to about one minute each in length. Please e-mail, fax, or mail them to us at least one week in advance so that our head minister can look over them.
- What is the candle lighting ceremony?
During the ceremony the couple will be asked to each take a candle and together light a center candle. This is a beautifully symbolic representation of you as individuals becoming one. After the ceremony we wrap the candle that you lit together and give it to you after you take your photos. We suggest that you light it again on anniversaries as a renewal of your love for one another.
- What music do you play?
We offer the beautiful traditional wedding music, which includes:
- Canon In D (as all attendants walk down the aisle).
- Here Comes the Bride (As the bride walks down the aisle).
- Snow Scene (During the lighting of the Unity Candle).
- The Wedding March (As the bride is exiting the chapel).
Alternatively, you can book an organist to play live organ music for your ceremony. - Can you provide a translator for my ceremony?
Yes, we have translators available for most languages. The cost is generally around $150, but it depends on the requested language. In order to have time to find a translator, please make your request at least a week before the ceremony. Contact your wedding coordinator for details.
- Can we video tape with our own cameras during the ceremony?
You are welcome to video tape the ceremony. We do ask that all guests remain in their seats so as to not interfere with any videos and photos that we will be taking. If the chapel video is included with your package there is no additional cost for this. However, if a chapel video is not included; all video cameras are subject to a $75.00 studio fee.
- What if the two of us do not want to see each other prior to the ceremony?
You may be interested in our "First Look" service. The bride and
groom arrive separately and all preliminary details are handled separately. The groom will be brought into the chapel, and will wait there for the ceremony to start. Your first look at each other is when the bride walks down the aisle. Due to the extra staffing and arranging involved, there is a $75.00 charge for this service.
- Am I going to have a religious or civil ceremony? What is the difference between the two?
It is your choice whether you have a religious or civil ceremony. All of our ministers are non-denominational Christian ministers. Their religious ceremonies incorporate scriptures from the Bible, and generally a prayer blessing your marriage. A civil ceremony does not mention God, but rather focuses solely on your relationship together. Prior to your ceremony you will meet with your minister, and one of the things he will discuss is whether you would like a religious or a civil ceremony.
- Can we have a wedding rehearsal?
Unfortunately, due to the large volume of weddings that we perform, we do not perform wedding rehearsals.
Ministers
- Do you provide the ministers and are they real ministers?
Yes we do provide the ministers and they are real ministers. All of our ministers are non-denominational Christian ministers, who only work at the chapel a few days a week so that they can take care of their congregations the rest of the week. We encourage you to get to know our ministers by watching live weddings. They perform wonderful and sincere ceremonies, and every wedding is important to them.
- Will my minister be a man or a woman?
Currently, all of our ministers are male. However, if that changes, we would be unable to guarantee which minister would perform your ceremony.
- Can I bring my own Minister to perform my Wedding Ceremony?
Many couples have a family member or close friend who is also a minister. We are happy to have outside ministers perform weddings at the chapel. However, if you would like to bring your own minister, please give us plenty of advance notice. Your Minister must be licensed to perform weddings in the State Of Nevada. He must also meet with our Head Minister beforehand, to go over all of the details, and to make sure that he is authorized to perform the wedding. Our minister will be the one to send in the paperwork to the County Recorder's office so that the wedding will be recorded and legal wherever you live. For this reason we recommend that the minister still be given a donation for his services.
Chapel Grounds
- Can we have Champagne after our ceremony?
Our chapel does not have a liquor license. This prohibits us from allowing alcohol anywhere on the property. We recommend that you return to your hotel or to your reception for your champagne toast and celebration. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
- Is there somewhere for my guests to park?
Our Chapel does have parking available for you and your guests. Please remember that Saturdays are our busiest day of the week so parking spaces can fill quickly. If there are no spaces available, guests may park next door in the Firestone parking lot behind the 7-eleven.
- Where can my guests wait before and after the ceremony?
We ask that guests make themselves comfortable, and enjoy each other's company, on one of our outdoor porches until your chapel is ready for them to be seated. After the ceremony your guests will be escorted back outside while the two of you take posed photos inside the chapel. Please make your guests aware that the chapel does not have an indoor waiting area and they should dress appropriately.
Flowers
- Can I customize my flowers?
Yes, our on-site florists are happy to help you
customize your wedding flowers. Our florists are amazing! We often have brides who drag their flowers clear across the country only to discover that our flowers are much more beautiful and much less expensive. Most changes and additions can be made up to a day before your wedding. For unusual flowers or elaborate special requests please allow us at least a week.
- What flower colors do you offer?
We can provide ANY color! The traditional colors we offer are red, white and pink. However, you can have any color you want with advanced notice. Because we must special order any colors other than red, white and pink, we do charge a one time fee of $20.00. This fee covers all of the flower arrangements in your wedding plan.
- Can I upgrade and add to my flower order?
Yes! Our professional floral department can design anything you want to make your flower-related dreams come true.
Photos
- What photos will I be receiving?
- Every ceremony package includes "candid 4x6 ceremony photos." These photos, as indicated, as all taken during the ceremony from when you walk down the aisle, through your kiss at the end and your exit from the chapel. Each ceremony package includes a different number of photos. However, our photographers will always take more photos than you have included with your ceremony package so that you can choose your favorites. Some other examples of candid ceremony photos include the photos done as you are exchanging your vows, lighting your unity candle, or exchanging rings.
See also: Ceremony vs. Non-Ceremony Photography - We also have packages available to pre-purchase posed photos. Your photographer will take these posed photos with you following your ceremony.

- Can I have my guests take photos?
We do not allow anyone, other than our
photographer, to take photos during the ceremony. They will do a great job for you and your guests can relax and enjoy the ceremony.
Also, your guests are not permitted to follow our photographer while he or she is taking your photos after the ceremony. If you would like to take photos on our beautiful grounds after the ceremony you will need to purchase extra time on the grounds. This also gives your friends and family time to stay and visit. - When I get back home, can I have prints made?
Yes, you are welcome to re-order more prints and enlargements at any time from our Photo Sales Department. If you have not purchased your Photo CD you cannot make prints at another photo studio. If you purchase your CD, you are welcome to make as many prints as you would like, through any photo studio or printer. We keep your Photo CD for approximately 6 months, during which time you may order reprints, enlargements, or the CD itself. The Chapel does have a copyright on the photos, even when you buy your Photo CD.
- When can I pick up my photos?
When you come for your wedding ceremony, your Coordinator will schedule a photo appointment for you to come back and see your photos, available as soon as the next day. If you are not available for a photo appointment, we can mail out your photos to you. The charge varies depending upon where you live.
- Can I get Black & White or Sepia photos?
You may order any enlargements in Color, Black & White, or Sepia. Please ask your wedding planner for more information.
- Can I purchase my negatives?
We are proud to announce that we now do all of our photography in digital format. Instead of negatives, you are welcome to purchase a CD with all of your wedding day photos on it for $595. With the CD, you get the digital file and the copyright to your images. Make copies of the CD to send to your family or e-mail the pictures to friends- having a CD of your wedding photography makes it easy to share your big day with those closest to you! Your CD will have all of your photos in color, black and white and sepia.
- Can I bring my own photographer?
We believe that our photographers are truly fantastic, and that our prices are a bargain for the top-quality photography that you will receive. To see their work, click on the link to "Photo Studio". Because we are so confident that you will love our photography, we don't allow non-chapel photographers. If you would like more photos than are included in your plan, please look over our photo upgrade packages, or call us at 1-800-843-2410 to create an upgrade package of your own.
- How can I view my photos online after the ceremony?
- Go to our homepage at www.littlechapel.com
- Click on "Guests"
- Change the listed wedding date to your wedding date
- Click on "Go"
- Find your names on the list of weddings that took place on that date
- Click on your names

- Standard US shipping is $10.00
- Standard International Shipping is $20.00
- You can request to have your shipment expedited for an additional charge.
- Additional charges apply for shipping canvas prints.
- Shipping costs vary depending on where you live.

Group and/or family shots are available with our
Sunflower Photography Package and above. Please ask your wedding planner for Photography Package suggestions.
Limousine
- How many people can the limousine accommodate?
Each limousine can hold a maximum of 8-9 people.
- Can we have drinks in the limousine?
Our chapel does not have a liquor license. This prohibits us from allowing alcohol in the limousine or anywhere else on the property. We recommend that you return to your hotel or to your reception for your champagne toast and celebration. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
- How long is the Strip tour?
The Strip tour is usually between 20 to 30 minutes. This depends mostly on traffic and to which hotel we will be returning you after your tour of the Strip.
- Is it possible to get a 2nd limousine?
Yes, we do provide two complimentary limousines with two of our Ceremony Packages, The Additional Limousine Option Package and Luxurious Package. We can also give you some names and numbers of companies that you can arrange additional transportation through. The cost to rent super stretch limousines like ours from one of these companies is from $75 -$90 per hour and it usually takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours for the limousine service with transportation and the time of the ceremony and photos.
Also, if the bride and groom prefer not to see each other before the ceremony and have only one limousine included with their ceremony package, they can add the Deluxe First Look Service to their ceremony plans for $125.00. This service includes the regular First Look Service, 16 Hours of Additional Internet Viewing Time, and a courtesy second limousine. With this option, both the bride and groom can then arrive in separate limousines to ensure that they both arrive in style! Please ask your wedding planner for more details. - How does the limousine service work and what does it include?
We have new super stretch limousines that seat up to 8 people. Our limousine driver will call you in your Hotel room approximately one hour to forty-five minutes before your ceremony time to let you know when he will pick you up and at what hotel entrance. He will then pick you up approximately 30 minutes before your ceremony and bring you to the Chapel for your ceremony. He will then return you to your hotel after your ceremony. Please call the chapel when you get to Vegas and have checked into your Hotel with your room number so that your driver will be able to contact you.
*Our license restricts us to picking up only from hotels along the Strip or downtown. If your hotel is not in either of these areas, please check with your Wedding Planner for alternatives. - How do I get taxi cabs for my guests or myself to return to the hotel? Can you call a taxi for me?
While taxi cabs are plentiful in Las Vegas, they are not allowed to stop along the Strip. In the past, when we have called cabs to our Chapel, they can take 30-60 minutes to arrive. We suggest, instead, that someone in your party walk to the Stratosphere and wait in their taxi line, and then bring it back to the Chapel to pick up the remaining guests. It is only a five minute walk to the Stratosphere, but keep in mind that the extreme heat we experience in Las Vegas can make this an unpleasant walk. You might want to consider having limousine service from us or another company instead, even if there are only a few people in your party.
- How long do I have the limousine?
Your limousine is only available to you for pick up from your hotel to the chapel, and back to your hotel after your ceremony. Unfortunately, we do not have the same licensing as a charter service and are not permitted to provide transportation at an hourly rate.
- Does the limousine drive down the Strip?
If you would like to drive down the Strip we do have the Fabulous Las Vegas Wedding and Strip Tour package available. With this package your driver will take you on a tour down the Strip, after your ceremony, before returning you back to your hotel. With any other package that includes limousine service the driver will most likely not drive down the Strip for pick up or drop off.
- Where should I meet the limousine?
Your driver will call you in your hotel room between an hour and 30 minutes prior to your ceremony. He will give you instructions as to where to meet him for your pick up. We ask that you please be sure to be dressed and ready one hour prior to your ceremony, and be waiting in your hotel room for his call.
- Where will the limousine pick up and drop off?
Our limousines are able to pick up from and drop off to any hotel on the Strip or Downtown. Our limousines are not able to pick up from any residential areas. If you are not sure if the limousine will go to your hotel, please call one of our wedding planners for more information.
- What if I cannot utilize the limousine service, or do not have a limousine included in my package?
If you will not be using the limousine service, but would like to arrive by limousine, you are welcome to hire any outside limousine service for your very special day. Or, if you will be renting a car, we do have parking available on the chapel property. However you choose to arrive for your ceremony, we do ask that you and your guests arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the time that your ceremony is booked.
Internet
- I hear sound but do not see any video
- The media player does not have the latest video codec. Your media player should automatically download this codec from Microsoft's site if you close your media player and then try to play the video again. The codec download is very small.
Other solutions: update your media player available from Microsoft's web site at: Windows Media Downloads - Another error can occur if the media player needs to download an updated video compression code but your security setting will not allow this. To correct this problem, go to your start menu, select settings/control panel. When the control panel opens, select "Internet Options" and adjust your security settings to allow for downloads.
- The media player does not have the latest video codec. Your media player should automatically download this codec from Microsoft's site if you close your media player and then try to play the video again. The codec download is very small.
- My video was ok, but now it has little or no motion
Your Internet connection has changed or fluctuated from Internet traffic and congestion. If the video does not start playing properly within 30 seconds, try stopping/starting the player or try closing the browser and clicking on the video web link again. In order to view streaming video on the Internet, you need to be using a high-speed connection, like cable or DSL. If you only have a dial-up connection, you may need to purchase a download of the video for $25 in order to see it properly.
- I get an error when media player tries to play video
The most likely reason for this occurrence is an outdated media player. You should be able to correct this problem by downloading and installing the current version from the previously posted link.
- About Windows Media Player
Our weddings are now encoded in Windows Media 9 technology. You can get the latest version, completely free from this link. The video should work if you download and install Windows Media Player version 9, 10, or 11.
- How do I watch a live wedding?
- Click on "Guests."
- Enter in the correct wedding date
- Optional Step: Enter in the bride's last name or groom's last name
- Click "Go"
- Find the wedding you are trying to watch
- Click on the couple's names
- You should see a black screen on their wedding page
- If the wedding has already started, the video should be playing
- If the wedding has not started yet, the bottom of the screen will just read "Ready"
- In this case, keep hitting the play button until the wedding begins
- How do I watch a pre-recorded wedding?
- If the live broadcasting of a wedding video has ended, the couple may have purchased extra viewing time. If this is the case, you can watch the wedding for free until their free viewing time ends. You can tell if a video is available for free viewing by checking if there is a bright film strip next to the couple's names.
- If the couple has not purchased additional internet viewing time, the cost to view the video is $10 per viewing. You will know that this is the case if the film strip next to their names is lightened.
- Please see "How do I watch a live wedding?" for specific instructions on how to get to the couple's wedding page.
- What types of Internet services are offered?
- With most packages, we will broadcast your wedding LIVE on the Internet at no charge. After the ceremony, we upload your wedding onto the server of a sister company for approximately four weeks. At this time, it becomes pay-per-view. Depending on which wedding plan you choose, additional free time is offered.
- With the Intimate and Romantic Weddings, we offer the broadcasting live as the wedding is taking place. The Traditional, Strip Tour and several other plans include a total of 8 hours of Internet time. With the Luxurious Wedding, we offer free viewing for four weeks following the ceremony in addition to the free live broadcast. You can purchase the archive of your wedding so that it remains available to you and your family and friends for the 100 days that it is saved in the system. The cost for this is $60.00. Otherwise the cost is $10.00 per viewing. Is this cool or what?
- *Please note that occasionally, technical difficulties prevent us from broadcasting ceremonies immediately. Should that occur, we will gladly extend the viewing for double the time you purchased.
- What do I need to watch a wedding?
Prior to watching a wedding on our site, you must first install Windows Media Player, which may be downloaded from Windows Media Downloads free. Once Windows Media Player 9, 10, or 11 is installed, you are ready to watch a wedding. Please try to watch other live weddings in order to make sure that Windows Media Player is installed and working well in advance of the ceremony you are trying to watch.
- How do I view the ceremony if I am an AOL user?
Please be aware, that the AOL Media Player does NOT support Windows Media 9 at this time. Please download the appropriate version of Windows Media Player, and open the video in Windows Media Player 9. Attempting to play video files in the AOL Media Player will result in sound, but no video. You can easily stream this material if you use Internet Explorer outside of AOL (Do not use the AOL browser).
- My audio is fine, but video has no motion, just still pictures
Your Internet connection is not fast enough to sustain video play. You will need to find somewhere to watch the video that has a high-speed connection, like cable or DSL. If you only have dial-up, you may need to purchase a download of the video. This can also occur if your connection speed fluctuates due to Internet traffic and congestion.
- After I create an electronic guest list for my online invitations, then what?
- Once you have created your electronic guest list for your online invitations, you can send them out at your leisure. If you have any difficulties sending your invitations, please contact a wedding planner at 1-800-843-2410 for assistance.
- We recommend sending all invitations at least two weeks prior to your wedding date as 7-8 days prior to your wedding date an automated e-mail will be sent to all guests listed on your electronic guest list, detailing instructions on where you find your ceremony online and how to view it.
Special Add-ons
- Special Ceremony Music Add-Ons
- CD MUSIC: We will provide traditional wedding music for your ceremony. If you wish to have your own special song(s) played for your ceremony, you are welcome to bring in a CD and we would be happy to play that for you instead. We suggest that you bring in this CD when you come in for your ceremony consultation so that we can test it and make sure that it plays on our CD players.
