David and Karen Nelson told there family that they were going to visit Karen’s sister in New Mexico on August 10th. Little did their family know that they were actually going to make a stop in Vegas to get married!
The two have been together for some quite time, but when the topic of marriage comes up, everything gets too complicated as everyone in the family seems to have their own opinion. They decided to lose the stress, save some money and just elope in Las Vegas. They were super excited on their wedding day, as they could not believe what they were doing! David even asked their photographer to take a picture of them with his own digital camera, so that they had proof to show his family what they had done. They also decided to put their ceremony and photos on our chapel website, so after they tell everyone, they can visit our website and view their beautiful ceremony and all of their photos.
David and Karen are both very energetic and happy people. I could tell they are very much in love and care for one another. I wish them all the best as they tell everyone back at home!
