Blind Date to “I Do!”

David and Alice Cawkwell were set up on a blind date and 8 years later getting married! It was great from the beginning. Sparks flew on their first date. I could tell, even 8 years later coming into the chapel and meeting them separately, they are so in love.

I was lucky enough to be their wedding coordinator. Alice decided to bring her own flowers and they were beautiful. Both David and Alice were both nervous but excited! Alice looked stunning, absolutely stunning! David looked handsome as well. They seem to just fit together so well. David and Alice got the Deluxe First Look which means that the bride and groom can’t see each other until the ceremony. As I was getting Alice ready, she was about to cry walking down the aisle. I told her they are happy and joyful tears and it’s okay to cry. They decided to be more themselves and brought their own cd for their music – great song selections too.

I’m so glad I was able to be a small part of their new life together! David and Alice are a great couple! I wish them many many years of bliss in their new life together.
