From Coast to Coast and a Las Vegas Wedding
Jason and Brooke Runyon are amazing. Upon arriving in one of our limos, Jason was really nervous and asking lots of questions during his check-in process. He wanted to make sure everything was perfect for Brooke and I don’t blame him either! When a couple like Brooke and Jason have a Deluxe First Look in their package, it is a lot of fun for me as a Wedding Coordinator to meet them separately. That way, I get to see how much the couple is really meant for each other. When Brooke stepped out of the limo, she was glowing! She looked fabulous from head-to-toe. Brooke was so laid back and relaxed, she was definitely an easy bride to check-in and get ready before her ceremony. Jason is one lucky guy! They seem like they perfectly balanced each other.
The two wanted a sand ceremony in the La Capella Chapel. They had a unique idea of bringing sand from the East Coast and West Coast for their ceremony as Jason is from the East Coast and Brooke is from the West Coast. How cool is that!?! During a sand ceremony, a bride and groom pour their sand into the center vase, combining the two sands together. I was a little worried the sand wouldn’t pour very smoothly, but it worked just great! It looked so cool after the ceremony!
I just need to mention Brooke’s fabulous flower theme with peacock feathers. I personally have never been a huge fan of peacock feathers, let alone in a bride’s bouquet. However, our floral department did a stellar job of adding the feathers into Brooke and her bridesmaid’s bouquets and the gentleman’s boutonnieres. After seeing all of the flowers for Jason and Brooke’s wedding, I am now in love with the idea of peacock feathers! It is a wonderful, fresh take on a wedding bouquet and I now consider recommending it to other brides.
Emil and Shanea were Jason and Brooke’s wedding photographers and they did a phenomenal job! I’m pretty sure Jason and Brooke secretly are models back at home. They look fantastic! The two had a larger bridal party, which made it fun for different picture opportunities, as well.
It was such a pleasure and honor to be a part of Jason and Brooke’s wedding day. I enjoyed every minute of coordinating it. I wish them all the best in their future together. Hopefully, they will consider renewing their vows here in a few years or so!
