It’s More Than Just Paper

Catherine and Alex Birmingham are two people that make the best out of everything! The two of them are in the process of moving cross-country from California all the way to Maine. In the middle of their road trip, they made a pit stop in Las Vegas and decided to tie the knot.

Catherine was explaining to me that she has a very large family, and they were sad that they could not be here on the day of her wedding. Therefore, her family sent them various paper dolls representing each of their family members. The families wishes were that they paper dolls would sit in the front pew, so that they could be a part of the wedding. I thought that this was the cutest idea! It was super creative and fun. Even though the couple was a little embarrassed as they were bringing out the paper dolls, the photographer and I loved it. Along with the paper dolls, they even sent a stuffed bird to be their ‘mascot;’ how cool is that?

Catherine and Alex are so lucky to have such a cool and fun family. I love when my couples do something completely original! I wish them much luck in their marriage and their new life together in Maine. Congratulations Catherine and Alex!
