How would you celebrate 46 years of marriage? A surprise trip to Vegas of course!
A thoughtful husband named Ed, SURPRISED his wife of 46 years, Carol, with a Renewal of Vows ceremony in Las Vegas! He set everything up for her and made sure everything was planned perfectly. Even more outstanding is that he also surprised her with friends and family who were seated in the chapel when she walked down the aisle. She had no idea that any of them had come all of the way to Las Vegas to be witnesses to their ceremony!

So now, on September 5th, 2011, they decided to renew their vows in front of their family members and closest friends. They travelled all the way from Queensland, Australia to have a one-month vacation where they are going travel all around America, while being accompanied by their two boys. Helene always dreamed of her wedding taking place in a chapel or in a Catholic Church. However, the man she fell in love with and wanted to call her husband had gone through a divorce. In France, there is a rule that you can not re-marry in the Catholic Church. Regardless of that, it did not stop Xavier and Helene from getting married and starting a family together.
Robert and Sandra and their two children flew in from Hertfordshire to get married after being together for 20 years. They were such a fun couple and by far one of my favorite weddings that I have coordinated. It wasn’t that they had an over-the-top ceremony, it was very intimate and simple, but Robert and Sandra had such a wonderful spirit to them that I will remember them for years to come.
Anthony and Emily Marvel have quite the Wedding Day story to go along with answering the question, “How was your morning so far?” After introducing myself to them, I asked the now-infamous question and Anthony proceeded to tell me about what happened earlier that day. Anthony asked their hotel to dry clean his white shirt so it’s perfect on their wedding day. The hotel ended up losing his white button-up shirt, and instead gave him a collared white shirt on loan for him to wear to the wedding. That’s not the end, yet!
David and Karen Nelson told there family that they were going to visit Karen’s sister in New Mexico on August 10th. Little did their family know that they were actually going to make a stop in Vegas to get married!
Trenton and Karina Laurance were on vacation from Carlton, Australia. They first visited Trenton’s brother in New York, and then decided to visit Las Vegas. One night, before going to see Penn & Teller, Trenton took Karina to a very nice dinner. Little did she know that he was about pop the question. As they were eating dinner, he simply asked Karina if she would marry him! Needless to say, she was super surprised and automatically said ‘YES!’
Gareth and Natalie were married on July 6, 2011, in our Victorian Chapel. It was just the two of them which made it more intimate and personal. Natalie was glowing when she walked into the chapel for the first time. Natalie’s dress, hair, makeup – everything, looked flawless. Gareth looked handsome as well in his gray suit. They were both excited for their wedding day to become a reality!
