Ten Happy Years Down, Many More To Go

Several years ago, David Nolan met Kerry at a charity event that she was working at. The two proceeded to fall in love and 10 years ago, they married at the Chapel of the Flowers. They had 35 guests come to Las Vegas to attend their wedding. David did not want to see Kerry before she walked down the aisle, so he wore a blindfold the entire time they were arriving and meeting with the minister. The next 10 years went on to produce two children of theirs along with more of life’s celebrations.

This month, for their 10-year anniversary, they came back to the Chapel of the Flowers and renewed their vows. Instead of 35 guests, they brought their two children with them to make this a celebration of their family and of them. Their daughter was the flower girl and Kerry let her hold her bouquet the entire time. Their son was their ring bearer, and David let him wear his boutonniere. This time, family members were watching the ceremony live on the internet, and the whole Nolan family blew them a kiss at the beginning of their ceremony.

It was my pleasure to coordinate their renewal of vows ceremony with their two children. I could tell the family had a fabulous time; David even said “see you in another 10 years!” I wish their family the very best.
