Actually, Andrew and Meredith are not celebrity look-alikes as their job or even as a hobby. However, when Meredith walked through the door of the Magnolia Chapel, I thought Marilyn Monroe had reincarnated herself and was coming in to marry Ricky Ricardo (except he wasn’t Cuban, as their photographer Danette pointed out) or Arnold Schwarzenegger (but without the accent).
Andrew and Meredith met in Iraq as ambassadors for the State Department and now that they are both stateside, Meredith is going back to school to study law. Eventually, she will spend her career fighting for International Women’s Rights. She’s a modern day Super Hero! Andrew has plans to stay at home and raise the gorgeous children they plan to someday have together. He’s a modern day Super Dad!
Due to special circumstances, they had a close friend perform their ceremony, which made their wedding even more personal. I was so lucky to be a part of their special day and I wish them all the best in their future together as Husband and Wife.
