Our first couple married in the Magnolia Chapel had the honors of cutting the ribbon just before their wedding ceremony over the Valentine’s Day weekend. Their glamorous Las Vegas chapel ceremony was the first of many we look forward to hosting in the Magnolia Chapel at Chapel of the Flowers.
Scottish globe-trotting couple, Laura and David Ripley wed at an intimate ceremony in the Magnolia Chapel on September 23, 2014. Little did they know that their love story would start at a mutual friend’s house 4 years prior on Christmas Day.
This is the first time I have taken the opportunity to write about any of our couples, so I couldn’t help but to decide on an experience that really stood out to me.
Actually, Andrew and Meredith are not celebrity look-alikes as their job or even as a hobby. However, when Meredith walked through the door of the Magnolia Chapel, I thought Marilyn Monroe had reincarnated herself and was coming in to marry Ricky Ricardo (except he wasn’t Cuban, as their photographer Danette pointed out) or Arnold Schwarzenegger (but without the accent).
