Love at First Sight
Bruna and Rafael feel in love, got married and are still in love today. I had the pleasure of being a part of the beautiful renewal of vows between Bruna and Rafael Tozzi. Rafael and Bruna met while on the job; well, actually, Bruna was interviewing for a position and Rafael was interviewing her. Rafael thought she was perfect for the job, as well as for his heart!
25 Years and a Vegas Wedding Later
Cherrallee and Alan McHaffie make a lovely couple! I had the privilege of coordinating their vow renewal ceremony. When I got to know them more, I couldn’t help but share their cute love story on our blog.
Not once but twice, Vow Renewal
Melisa and J.P. Feustel got married at Chapel of the Flowers inside the Magnolia Chapel just about 11 years ago. They were coming to Las Vegas, once again, but this time just for a vacation, or so J.P. thought. However, Melisa had other plans. She had actually planned a secret renewal of vows ceremony for her and J.P. She planned everything from Florida, and even bought a cute white dress for the ceremony. About two hours before their 8:00 p.m. ceremony, Melisa asked J.P. if he would marry her again. He was shocked, but then happily agreed!
Happy 50th Anniversary!
On November 19th, I had the joy of meeting a couple that have been married for 50 years! Nancy and Patricio Mena were celebrating their 50th anniversary with all their closest family members. Their son booked everything for them and contacted all of their family members, so that they could join them and watch as they renew vows in Las Vegas!
Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed…
This is the first time I have taken the opportunity to write about any of our couples, so I couldn’t help but to decide on an experience that really stood out to me.
Ten Happy Years Down, Many More To Go
Several years ago, David Nolan met Kerry at a charity event that she was working at. The two proceeded to fall in love and 10 years ago, they married at the Chapel of the Flowers. They had 35 guests come to Las Vegas to attend their wedding. David did not want to see Kerry before she walked down the aisle, so he wore a blindfold the entire time they were arriving and meeting with the minister. The next 10 years went on to produce two children of theirs along with more of life’s celebrations.
A Legacy of Love
On Saturday, September 17, 2011, Doyalene and Gary Layton celebrated 50 years of marriage together and had the most romantic, touching and heartfelt Vow Renewal ceremony I have ever seen. I did not have the privilege of coordinating their wedding, but word spread throughout the Chapel of how amazing their ceremony was, so I decided to watch their ceremony when I was home later that night. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can view it here.
