Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed…

This is the first time I have taken the opportunity to write about any of our couples, so I couldn’t help but to decide on an experience that really stood out to me.

On November 15th, 2011, Andrea and James Lynch arrived at our Victorian Chapel to renew their vows of five years. Not only were they celebrating their fifth anniversary that very day, but I learned that their original wedding ceremony had taken place in our very own Magnolia Chapel!

When preparing their paperwork before their arrival, I saw that they would be coming with another couple that was scheduled for a wedding ceremony taking place later that evening. Although we have had friends or family members celebrate their weddings together with us before, I have never had the pleasure of being a part of such an occasion. I was a little bit nervous to attempt coordinating an event like this, but was very honored to be able to be a part such an amazing family’s celebration!

Jennifer Crudell and James Lynch III arrived with Andrea and James, and as soon as they walked in the door I could see how obviously in love they were! After being together for about two years, they decided to tie the knot at Chapel of the Flowers and share their special day with their family by getting married at the same place and on the same day!

Andrea and James were able to renew their vows with Jennifer and James III amongst their guests. After their ceremony and a few moments alone, followed by a few minutes with their minister, they were finally able to attend the ceremony of Jennifer and James III. Their family was able to share so much love in a way that I would say is very unique, and unlike almost any story I have ever heard. For the rest of their lives, Andrea and James Lynch and Jennifer and James Lynch III, will be celebrating their anniversaries together!
