There are only 36 binary days in a century and these days draw special attention for weddings by soon-to-be brides from across the globe. The majority of these binary weddings take place in Las Vegas. Right now, Chapel of the Flowers is offering couples a chance to take advantage of this special day, without breaking their budget. Chapel of the Flowers provides exceptional service and special attention to make each wedding as unique and cherishable as possible for our newlywed couples.
Military Soldier and His Beautiful Bride
We love military weddings. You know when you see a couple look at each other and their love just radiates from them and makes your heart smile? Yeah, that describes Dennis and Callan! The way they look at each other just screams true love!! I was so honored to be their wedding coordinator. They are so adorable. Callan’s smile is so contagious and Denni is just so relaxed and was so excited to see his bride.
Miranda Lambert serves as Matron of Honor at friend’s wedding
Country superstar Miranda Lambert surprises her good friend Laci on her wedding day at the chapel. Miranda was in Las Vegas where she performed the night before at the iHeart Radio Music Festival. The two took amazing photos throughout the night; Miranda is sure use to the flash photography being the celebrity she is.
Laci was so excited that she made Miranda her Matron of Honor. On a fun note, Laci served as Miranda’s Maid of Honor in her “White Liar” music video.
Behind-the-scenes of a Vegas Wedding
I have been working at the chapel for more than seven months now and have gotten the privilege to edit so many fantastic weddings. The offsite weddings that I get to edit are especially meaningful to me since the photographers usually choose to edit them themselves. I recently had the chance to edit Mr. and Mrs. Ngo’s offsite photo session. They got married here in our Magnolia Chapel on March 6, 2012. I cannot say enough about how great the photos turned out for this couple!
Making your Vegas Wedding a Destination Wedding dream come true
Yes, I admit it, I am a TLC and WE network junkie. I will sit and watch “Say Yes to the Dress” or “Four Weddings” episodes back-to-back, all day long, even if I’ve seen them before (which, I usually have). My husband can’t understand it at all because the last thing he wants to do when he gets home is watch television shows about what he does all day at work. I’ve explained to him that being a Wedding Planner is more than just a “punch-in, punch-out” kind of job. It is an ever-changing, always evolving, opportunity to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for people that they will remember for the rest of their lives. I think that he, like many people, was under the assumption that getting married in Las Vegas was what you see in movies like “What Happens in Vegas” and “The Hangover.”
Feelin’ Lucky in Vegas
Michaelyn and Joseph Bruer are feeling lucky in more ways than one! When Michaelyn stepped out of the limo, she was beaming. She just glowed with beauty. I loved her dress and her hair piece; she really was gorgeous from head to toe. Joseph looked very handsome. They seemed like the perfect match for each other!
Moments That Take Our Breath Away
There are a few moments that take your breath away. Marci and David Phariss make one cute couple. They are a couple I will never forget. Let me tell you why! The bride’s name is Marci, which happens to be my name too! She even spells her name like it should be. I loved that I was able to coordinate their wedding. She kept saying to me, “You just have such a great name!” and I would always reply with something like, “Thanks, you too! It’s a great name!” I remember joking with her saying, “I guess I need to find a guy named David to marry, too!” We both laughed about that!
Not once but twice, Vow Renewal
Melisa and J.P. Feustel got married at Chapel of the Flowers inside the Magnolia Chapel just about 11 years ago. They were coming to Las Vegas, once again, but this time just for a vacation, or so J.P. thought. However, Melisa had other plans. She had actually planned a secret renewal of vows ceremony for her and J.P. She planned everything from Florida, and even bought a cute white dress for the ceremony. About two hours before their 8:00 p.m. ceremony, Melisa asked J.P. if he would marry her again. He was shocked, but then happily agreed!
